Last minute Diwali outfits

Light up the lamps! Diwali is just around the corner and that means lot of food, fashion and lights everywhere.

Yesterday, I realised that it is time to post a Diwali outfit blog for all those girls who did not get time to shop a Diwali outfit  like me (thanks life for keeping me extra busy) and I understand that how dreary it can be to dress the festive way again and again. So, for this Diwali I have put together 3 different looks for 3 different functions!

Scroll down for handy tips for your festive look….

Look 1: The Office party

Diwali party at work is quite an event and you cannot be a spoilsport. It’ll be a long day and you need an ensemble that doesn’t weigh you down by the time the part begins.

Wear a crop top and palazzo (preferably cotton) of same color to create a monochromatic look. Team it up with bright colored chunky jewellery with a clutch and you are done.

Super easy…wasn’t it!

Clutch from THE LOTUS HOUSE (Chhatrapati shivaji International airport)

Look 2: The Aarti & Pooja Time

Why wear a dress just like a dress? Wear it with a matching palazzo. Then take a dupatta of your choice and drape it like a jacket. Complete the look with some silver jewellery and you are good to go!

You just created your very own designer suit!

Look 3: The Extravagant Diwali Bash

Finally, the big event day! You can opt to take a twirl in a lehenga but don’t be afraid to try experimenting the look. Wear your favourite skirt. Team it up with a solid Kurti and a matching dupatta. There you go! You have your very own kurta-skirt set to sparkle in this festive season.

Irrespective of the outfit you choose, ensure you have the Jewellery game right because that’ll set the mood for the party.

So, ladies this Diwali take the liberty to go ahead and be your personal stylist.

Happy Diwali in advance!
