Love wearing ethnic with a touch of royalty? The timeless Chanderi Silk is the way to be. Indian handloom is having a major moment right now, and we are loving it! Chanderi silk is a kind of fabric which will never go out of fashion.
It originated in a town called Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. It is made with three types of fabrics- pure silk, blended silk and Chanderi cotton.
This light, luxurious and glamorous fabric is stunning for the upcoming wedding season. Whether a brightly hued saree with a rich border, or a pastel Anarkali gown with gold motifs (like what I am wearing), we are looking forward to getting decked out in the forever magnificent, forever classy, Chanderi weave.
Coming to the outfit quickly I am wearing a pastel Anarkali gown from SOCH. I adore the pattern, colour and the fabric of this outfit. You can also wear this with dupatta to make your outfit look dressy.
I wore it without dupatta and pair it with heels for an elegant look. For the jewellery, I just added a pair of Kundan and Pearl statement earrings as the neck of the outfit was small. For the hair do I went for outward curls, which I loved the most in my entire look.
This look is also perfect for a trousseau, and can be dressed up or down for an occasion.
Love you all, thank you for reading!
